Dangerous Attachments

Why do pandr consider HTM / HTML Attachments dangerous?

Why is it dangerous to open suspicious email attachments

HTML Pages are generally used for website design, when these are sent as attachments it usually an attacker attempting to gain information, commonly these will be disguised as a filename with an invoice attachment, however when opening this attachment it will appear to prompt you for your email or Office 365 details – in fact you are actually simply sending your username and password to a would be hacker.

If you are not expressly waiting for a HTML attachment, we advise marking this mail as junk.
